The Incubator was the 12th episode of Season 2 of the TV series M*A*S*H, also the 36th overall episode of the series. Written by Larry Gelbart and Lawrence Marks, and direceted by Terry Becker, It originally aired on CBS-TV on December 1, 1973.
Hawkeye and Trapper decide they need an incubator to aid their medical work, and fight the army red tape to get one.
In the beginning of the episode, Henry Blake gets a barbecue when told that Hawkeye and Trapper want a incubator, so, he gets a Captian from ICORP, to help him get it, but, he says no saying that it would only be a "Luxury" for them to have it... They tell him that they well get it anyway, that they well "Part the red tape". More in to the episode, they try to get t from a captain, that they state won't tie his shoes without a direct order, then go to a major who has to have everything in triplicate. Only to go on to a Colonel who is sending Korea to San Francisco, on letter at a time. Then they move on to a General, who, is at the time in a prence confrence. So, he didn't answer their qestion, which then, Hawkeye soposable yelled "Give me a incubator or give me death." and called the General a "NINCOMPAC", and they get arrested, but they arnt leaving the camp, they are staying, and spend their time on camp. In the end, it was Walter "Radar" O’Reilly who got the incubater, and it was reviled he got it by trading in the barbecue that Henry Blake got.
