In his only appearance in the episode "Requiem for a Lightweight", the gargauatuan Quartermaster soldier Flacker, who was pitted against Trapper in a boxing smoker arranged through a General Wilson Spaulding Barker (Sorrell Booke), he can be seen by a peeking Trapper and Hawkeye working out in the gym tent, working on the punching bag; needless to say, it makes a recalcitrant Trapper, who was influenced by Hawkeye, who didn't want to sse Nurse Margie Cutler transferred to Barker's command.

Trapper's Challanger in Requiem for a Lightweight

SGT Flacker working out on the punching bag in the gym tent arranged for his smoker bout against Trapper John.

Anyway, word has it through Radar that when a jeep accidentally ran into him, Flacker got angry and punched it, and "knocked it out"!

After seeing the hulking Flacker work out, Trapper and Hawkeye concoct the plan to try to win the match by appying a dose of ether on Trapper's right glove, to try to get Flacker tangled with Trap so that he could put the glove to his nose, "knocking him out!"

Unfortunately for Trapper, plans almost go completely awry when Frank, who learns of the surgeons plans to cheat by getting Trapper to place the ether glove in "Killer's" face when they're entangled on the ropes, switches the ether bottle meant to use on Flacker with a bottle of water, as the unfazed Flacker flattens trapper with right cross, making him dazed and confused, before Hawkeye switches the bottles back, as Trap manages to get the glove to "Killer's" face, knocking him out cold~
