Robert Klane (born 1941)  wrote 5 episodes of M*A*S*H TV series, beginning with the Season 1 epiosde "Requiem for a Lightweight", with his last episode being "The Consultant" in Season 3. Robert also either wrote or produced 13 episodes of the FOX-TV series Tracey Takes On..., as well as the script for the 1989 film Weekend at Bernie's. Robert also wrote "Greasier," a rejected script for a Grease film sequel, in 1979. As a director, Robert directed the 1979 film Thank God It's Friday. He also directed the sequel film Weekend at Bernie's II, and the 1993 TV movie The Odd Couple: Together Again.
