About WhitneyEdit

Whitney only appears in one scene in the episode. While being treated by Hawkeye in post-op, Whitney tells Hawkeye how embarrassed he is about being shot in his backside. What will he say if people ask where he has been shot? Hawkeye tells him to just answer, "In Korea." And if people ask where he got hit? Hawkeye advises him to look the questioner in the eye and say, "I got hit in the butt." He tells Whitney he has a very special wound which is symbolic of this entire war: it has been "one gigantic pain in the butt." And when they hand him his Purple Heart, he can tell them exactly where to pin it. Whitney laughs and thanks Hawkeye for cheering him up.
