About Private GoldsteinEdit

Goldstein's rank is not given in the credits, nor is his uniform seen. The rank is inferred from the fact that G.I.s are commonly listed in the credits simply by their last name while corporals and sergeants have their ranks stated.

Goldstein arrives at the 4077th on board the helicopter piloted by John "Cowboy" Hodges. He is operated by Trapper in the O.R. Father Mulcahy on noticing from his dog tags that Goldstein is Jewish, makes a prayer in Hebrew, much to the surprise of Hawkeye and Trapper.

Later in Post-Op, Goldstein asks Hawkeye what he thought of his leg. Hawkeye replies that he is more of a fanny man but he thinks Goldstein's leg will be all right.
