About Private KornhausEdit

Kornhaus is a corpsman at the 4077th who gets into a barfight at Rosie's Bar and is injured. In pre-op, Hawkeye and B.J. tell Frank Burns that Kornhaus got injured by slipping on some jello--they were probably concerned that Frank might punish him for getting into a brawl. However when Frank finds out what happened, he brings him into the O.R. and tells everybody that Kornhaus is a "true hero". a man with "true esprit d'corps" as he fought for the honor of the 4077th. Frank says Kornhaus might be injured, but they should all look at "the other guy". Kornhaus corrects him, saying that "the other guy" looks quite all right, but Frank doesn't listen. Kornhaus was speaking the truth: earlier in the episode the bar fight sequence showed that Kornhaus was getting the worse of it, getting punched once and then knocked out by someone smashing a beer bottle over his head.
