About Oksun LiEdit
When Klinger offers financial help to Oksun Li, who he knows as a cleaning girl on the base, his gesture is mistaken as a proposal of prostitution by her angry mother (Shizuko Hoshi); Colonel Potter and Margaret both try to help smooth things out between Klinger and the irate Mrs. Li, who finally warms up to him when she realizes his intentions were honest. However, when Klinger sees the normally innocent and plain looking but naive and still beautiful Oksun at Rosie's Bar dressed as a strumpet trying to solicit fellow serviemen out of desperation to help her poor family, he stops her before she actually delves into prostitution, even almost getting in a fight with Sgt. Crocetti, who misses him after taking a swing at him, passing out on the floor in a drunken stupor!!
