Miko Mayama (born August 15, 1949) appeared as Sun Pak, the daughter of Cho Pak, a Korean local who does laundry for the 4077th in the Season episode of the CBS-TV series M*A*S*H titled "The Price", which has happened to be her last Hollywood acting appearnce to date. Miko also has the distinction of being the actress who played Yeoman Tamura in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode "A Taste of Armageddon".

Career

Mayama's television and movie career started in the mid-1960s, lasted until the late 1970s, and included a little over twenty roles. Her earliest film roles were uncredited parts in the 1966 romantic comedy Walk, Don't Run and the 1967 western The War Wagon. These were followed with supporting roles in the 1969 adventure Impasse (co-starring Jeff Corey), the 1970 drama The Hawaiians (with James Gregory and Keye Luke), and the 1973 blaxploitation film That Man Bolt (starring Fred Williamson).

Asides from M*A*S*H, and Star Trek, other TV shows on which she appeared include I SpyIt Takes a ThiefThe Flying NunThe Beverly HillbilliesIronsideMedical CenterHawaii Five-OKojak, and Mannix (with Clyde Kusatsu). She was also a regular on the NBC-TV series Hey, Landlord, which debuted the same week asStar Trek but lasted only one season. Films in which she starred, among others, include Gokuaku bôzu: nenbutsu hitokiri tabi (1969), Impasse (1969), The Hawaiians (1970), Amanda Fallon (1973), That Man Bolt (1973) and Cage Without a Key (1975).
