About Nurse MarquetteEdit
Trapper finds Hawkeye actually shaving in the middle of the week--he is all excited about a picnic with the new nurse, Lieutenant Suzanne Marquette. Radar helps by putting together a basket with "yesterday's lettuce and tomorrow's bananas". There is also a bottle of brandy from Henry Blake compliments of Henry Blake--but there's not much in the bottle because "he wasn't very complimentary. Radar couldn't get the tomatoes because he looked at them and "something looked back".
The picnic goes well at first. Suzanne asks Hawkeye, "Does every new nurse fall in love with you here?" "No. Only the ones with taste," he replies. "Do you think I have any?" "I don't know. Let me taste you." But just as things get interesting, a shot rings out and smashes the brandy bottle and they are forced to hit dirt.
They think it is Frank and Margaret doing target practice nearby but it turns out to be a North Korean sniper and the four of them make a run for the camp and join everyone taking cover in the hospital building.
