Lieutenant Cathy King was a nurse who made a one time appearance in the Season 4 episode of M*A*S*H titled "Smilin' Jack". Although the part has a substantial number of lines, the actress is uncredited and we only ever see her wearing a surgical mask. However some Internet resources list the part as being played by Alba Francesca. The source of this claim is not known but certainly the eyebrows of the nurse match those of Francesca.
About Nurse KingEdit
In the O.R., Nurse King is assisting Hawkeye with a patient which helicopter pilot Lieutenant Smilin' Jack Mitchell has just brought in. Hawkeye flirtatiously tells her that she is very good and asks where she trained. She tells him that it was in Bellevue, which Hawkeye thinks is a lovely place.
Later, Smilin' Jack comes into the O.R. to visit Hawkeye and take a photo of his patient. Jack notices that Nurse King is new to the MASH so Hawkeye introduces her, thus giving us her full name. Jack tells King that he will see her around later, to which she replies, "Unless the war ends first."
