Lieutenant Armstrong was a nurse character who made a one-time appearance in the Season 11 M*A*S*H TV series episode "Give and Take". Nurse Armstrong was played by actress Sagan Lewis, who is best known as Dr. Jacqueline Wade of St. Elsewhere.
About Nurse Armstrong
Armstrong is collecting her food in the mess tent when Hawkeye takes her aside, offers to carry her tray and leads her to a table. She is surprised by Hawkeye's gentlemanly behaviour and asks why the change. Hawkeye says he is smitten by her and offers her a date: a walk through the motor pool and a dinner for two in the stock room. At first she is flattered and interested. But it turns out that what Hawkeye really wants from her is some money. She can have the date for a contribution of $10 to charity. Hawkeye has taken over the job of collections officer from B.J. and is desperate to fill his donation book. Armstrong laughs it off. She can't believe Hawkeye wants her to pay for a date with him. She tells him she has a boyfriend in the commandoes and if he found out what Hawkeye has just offered, he would rip him apart like a wishbone.
