Joe Pantoliano (born September 12, 1951) made a guest appearance on the M*A*S*H TV series as wounded soldier Corporal Gerald Mullen in "Identity Crisis" in Season 10 (episode #3).

Life and careerEdit

Born and raised, in Hoboken, New Jersey, Pantoliano is the son of Italian American parents Mary (née Centrella), a bookie and seamstress, and Dominic "Monk" Pantoliano, a hearse driver and factory shop foreman. [1][2] He attended HB Studio, and studied extensively with actors John Lehne and Herbert Berghof.[3]

Pantoliano is best known for portraying Ralph Cifaretto in the HBO TV series The Sopranos, Bob Keane in the film La Bamba (1988), Cypher in The Matrix (1999), Teddy in the film Memento (2000), Captain Conrad Howard in the Bad Boys film franchise, Francis Fratelli in The Goonies (1985), Guido in the film Risky Business (1983), Eddie Moscone in Midnight Run, and Caesar in Bound (1996). He also played Deputy U.S. Marshal Cosmo Renfro in both The Fugitive (1993) and U.S. Marshals (1998) films.

One of Joe's more recent roles was as Gabe Ugliano in the film adaptation of Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lighting Thief in 2010.
