Jim Lau (born April 11, 1952) is a character actor who is known for his work on Big Trouble in Little China (1986), The Hangover Part III (2013) and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End (2007). Jim appeared as one of the Chinese POW musicians in the final M*A*S*H episode, the 3 hour film "Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen". In addition to his M*A*S*H appearance, Jim has also appeared in guest roles on many other popular TV series such as Little House on the Prairie (his TV acting debut), Riptide, House, M.D., Monk, Boston Public, George Lopez, and Diagnosis: Murder. Jim was married to actress Joan Chen from 1985-1990.
