About SturnerEdit

When the 4077th starts experiencing heavy shelling while swamped with wounded, an unexploded bomb lands smack dab in the middle of the camp -- in front of the CO's office! After attempting to identify the markings on the bomb by contancting Army HQ and then getting directed by a Colonel Hersh (Alan Manson) to contact the Navy, Commander Sturner is the officer who answers; he tells Henry, who gives him the numbers of the markings as to the ID of the bomb, that it isn't one of theirs, either. Sturner, who was also listening to the Army-Navy game with a lovely auburn haired Lieutenant, promises to look into the matter, and call back shortly.

When Sturner finally calls back, and tells the 4077th that the bomb belongs to...the C.I.A.! When Henry tells Sturner that the markings  seemed to indicate to Army HQ that it was the Navy's, Sturner answers, "What do they know? They just fumbled on the 1-yard line!"
